Brighton Enterprises, Inc., Supported Living is looking for an experienced Part-time Bookkeeper to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position.  The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines. 

Job duties could include the following:

  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Match purchase orders with invoices
  • Accurate filing
  • Corresponding with customers via email, phone, or in person

 

The following is a list of helpful experience needed:

Experience in Accounting or related field,

Experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger,

Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles,

Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation,

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks, and

Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations

 

 You must: 

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Be able to pass a background check
  • lift and/or move 50 pounds safely
